1. Name the exact app
Record the full product name, developer, official domain and store URL. Similar icons and brand words do not establish identity.
2. Prefer a matched source
Use a first-party store or publisher route. An APK copied to an unrelated directory loses the ownership trail.
3. Read permissions in context
A card game may need network access, but contacts, SMS, call logs or accessibility require a specific, credible purpose. Deny what the core game does not need.
4. Identify the product model
Separate free-social or offline play from money, stakes, deposits, redeemable balances or paid contests. This changes both risk and current classification.
5. Inspect payment and support claims
Never share a UPI PIN, OTP or screen-control access. Use support details from the matched developer source, not search comments or messaging groups.
6. Recheck after updates
Store ownership, package, permissions, business model and privacy statements can change. A dated source check is not permanent certification.
